There is an option for healthcare providers to use the mobile version of the SK Virtual Visit platform to have virtual patient consultations or meetings.
- A doctor or healthcare provider must be 'invited' to join a scheduled patient consultation or 'Meet Now' video meeting as an invited participant. They themselves or their clinic support staff must send the unique 'join-in link information' to the healthcare provider as well as to all participants being invited to join in.
-
Either the healthcare provider or their clinic support staff must be the 'host' and initiate the consultation or meeting using the virtual clinic web platform; it cannot be initiated using the mobile version on their mobile device.
-
If being initiated by the healthcare provider on their laptop/computer, they must keep their laptop or computer MUTED and the video OFF when joining by mobile to ensure the video and audio works properly on their mobile device.
-
- The option works whether being invited within their own virtual clinic or to a patient consultation/virtual meeting at another healthcare provider's virtual clinic.
Follow the instructions in the following articles to access the patient consultation or virtual meeting:

IMPORTANT - The patient consultation must be ARCHIVED once completed by the initiating 'host' using the virtual clinic web platform.
