Print PDF Documents and Save to Desktop on Accuro EMR

There are 3 ways to print to PDF documents from your Accuro EMR in order to upload them into the SK Virtual Visit system for your patient.  This may include:

• Lab requisitions
• Chiropractor/Physiotherapy/Massage Therapy notes
• Xray requisitions

NOTE:  It is not advised to upload prescriptions but to instead fax the prescriptions to your patient's requested pharmacy.

Option 1:  With Microsoft Print

Option 2:  With PDF Writer

Option 3:  With Citrix PDF Printer

Option 1:  With Microsoft Print

Step 1 - Create a file that you would like the document saved to on the desktop of your laptop/computer, ensuring that it is obscurely labeled, but easy to find for yourself.

Step 2 - Open the document within Accuro that you would like to save as a PDF. 

Step 3 - Click ‘Print’.

Step 4 - Choose 'Microsoft Print to PDF'.

Step 5 - Click 'OK'.

Step 6 - Save to your previously-made file on your desktop, only using the patient's HSN to ensure privacy.

Step 7 - Important: delete this file once you are finished using it, in accordance with HIPA and PIPEDA.

Option 2:  With PDF Writer

Step 1 - Create a file that you would like the document saved to on the desktop of your laptop/computer, ensuring that it is obscurely labeled, but easy to find for yourself.

Step 2 - Open the document within Accuro that you would like to save as a PDF. 

Step 3 - Click ‘Print’.

Step 4 - Choose ‘PDF Writer’.

Step 5 - Choose ‘This PC’. 

Step 6 - Save to your previously-made file on your desktop, only using the patient's HSN to ensure privacy.

Step 7 - Be sure to delete this file once you are finished using it in accordance with HIPA a                and PIPEDA.

Option 3:

With Citrix PDF Printer

Step 1 - Make a file that you would like the document saved to on the desktop of the                      computer ensuring that it is obscurely labeled, but easy to find for yourself

Step 2 - Open the document within Accuro that you would like to save as a PDF 

Step 3 - Click ‘Print' 

Step 4 - Choose ‘PDF Printer’ 

Step 5 - Click ‘OK’ 

Step 6 - Save to your previously made file on your desktop only using the patients                            HSN to ensure privacy.

Step 7 - Important: delete this file once you are finished using it, in accordance with HIPA and PIPEDA.
