Healthcare Provider's Schedule - Book Time Off

It is recommended that healthcare provider's schedules continue to be managed using the clinic's regular EMR system.  There is, however, scheduling capability built into the SK Virtual Visit system. 

Step 1 - If you are the clinic staff and are working with more than one healthcare provider, from the left navigation bar, select 'Schedule', then click the drop-down to select the provider whose shift you are managing.

Step 2 -  Click 'Book Time Off'.

Step 3 - Fill in the details requested:

• Click calendar to Select Day 
• Click drop-down to select Time (From + To)
• Click drop-down to select Occurrence (single, weekly, bi-weekly or tri-weekly)
• Click calendar to select End Date (not required for single occurrence)

If you have patient appointments scheduled during that time period, the message will list those patient appointments.

Step 4 - If you wish to continue editing your scheduled shift(s), click 'Book Time Off'.  

Scheduled patient(s) will be notified that their appointment(s) were cancelled and they need to rebook.  

Your Time Off will appear in your calendar as 'Unavailable'.
