Can I Share My Screen Within a Video Patient Consultation or Meeting?

Yes, both the healthcare provider, patient and invited participants can share their screens while in the video. 

• The video host will have to give permission for others to do so.
• Annotations can be added to the shared screen while it is displayed.

Benefits:

• A great teaching tool for diagnosis or follow-up progress and results.
• Assists healthcare providers to clearly explain suggested procedures.
• Provides a clinical picture in correlation to the signs and symptoms.

Step 1 - Have the screen you wish to share open on your laptop/computer.

Step 2 - Click 'Share Screen' along the bottom panel of the video screen.

Step 3 - Select the screen or window you wish to share and click 'Share'.

Once the screen is visible, new buttons appear along the bottom of your video screen:

• Annotations - Click to highlight specific areas on your shared screen

• Stop Sharing - Click to stop sharing your screen

Allow Others to Screen Share

Step 1 - Click the drop-down beside 'Share Screen'.

Step 2 - Click either option to enable screen sharing for 'Providers Only' or 'Everyone'.
